The Recreational Circus Arts course is appropriate from age 8 and our goal is to introduce children to circus arts within an enjoyable setting. Kids participate in all disciplines throughout the year but have the possibility to specialize in specific art if they wish to do so. Each lesson is composed of acrobatics (ground, trampoline, miniature trampoline) and technical exercises (trapeze, unicycle, juggling, tightrope, etc.). The schedule seems flexible and include 2 to 6 hours of lessons per week (during the week days, fees vary accordingly). I’ve heard very positive feedback, lessons are supposed to be great. We saw 2 end-of-year shows and it was really impressive to see what kids learned to do on the unicycle or with juggling pins. There was significant improvement in their balancing skills, self-confidence, agility and grace.
Courses start from age 8 and motivated parents are welcome to stay and watch lessons, a great family experience. A HappyMom even starred the show once and deserved not only to be applauded but also admired for her courage! bravo Manuche!
